Sophomore Jody Hubbard gets his 2nd win in as many starts. Hubbard gave up 3 earned runs in the 1st inning. But then held the Falcons scoreless through the 5th. Dahlenburg gets the save. Conner had some timely hitting, but still left 9 men on base.:irked: Offensive contributors were Thomas Noll 2B, 1R. Osuna sac fly, 1B. This is a great non-district win against a solid Michigan team.:banana:

Watched this game prior to start of the Boone, St. Henry game and was impressed with the "D" of Conner. Will wait until Tuesday to make any more comments about this team, but I was duly impress with their play today. Conner looked much better than did Boone or St. Henry did today IMO.

The is a big-time win for Conner and clearly indicative that they can play with the big boys in the NKY area. Congrats to them and a big-time congrats to Jody Hubbard!
