I know he just transferred to Knott from JBS and everyone said he is eligible for basketball, just wondering is he playing baseball for them. From what I hear, he is a good player at both sports.

Tate isn't playing baseball. He is focusing on basketball, which IMO, is a mistake. Unless he grows over the next couple of years, basketball won't be in his future.

The only thing I'd agree on is the fact that he is small. BUT, I really think Tate will play basketball somewhere. Maybe not a big school, but he'll be somewhere. He does too many good things on the floor not to play somewhere. He does it on both ends of the floor. Very capable of scoring and really is very good on the defensive end. I think Tate will be somewhere in college playing basketball.

That's kind of what I meant. The thing about it is, is that some are or were telling him that he is DI and, eventually, NBA material. Which is totally untrue. But, I agree with you that he'll be playing somewhere. Probably a NAIA school or lower DIII team.

I would say that he isn't. Too short of a time between basketball and baseball and the time that he transferred.
