Ryle 66, Heritage 41, District 33 at Conner: Ryle outscored Heritage by 23 points in the second half behind Josh Lamping's 11 third-quarter points. The junior forward came off the bench to go 7-for-10 from the field and score a game-high 15 points.

 

Senior forward John Maley contributed with 13 points and six rebounds for the Raiders (13-13).

 

Ryle, ranked No. 9 in the Enquirer Northern Kentucky coaches' poll, advances to play St. Henry Wednesday at Conner at 6 p.m.

Was Ryle playing all their starters in the first half? Was anyone in foul trouble? I'm just asking because I saw the score was close at the half.

Ryle was not in foul trouble and everyone was playing. I'll give Heritage credit, they slowed the ball down in their half court offense and Ryle in the first half played with no intensity. Second half was obviously a different story as they ran a half court trap that took it's toll on Heritage.
