Top Players in the 8th Region

Featured Replies

You have to have Penny in the conversation, but Dunlap is also up there for one of the better players.

Maddox from Gallatin is a good all round, un-selfish player also.

There's a few.

What about Shelton from Owen.

Shelton from Owen is a weak player in my own personal opinion. If he got stronger he could be a good player.

He's young, what grade is he? But he was some solid talent, and will be good.

Yeah, I was thinking sophomore, not sure though. Good young talent.

Layne seems to play good against us. Layne from Simon. Handles the ball well, and normally shoots well at our place. Impressed with him.

I really like Maddox too. He seems to play like a good team player but also takes over when he has too. Impressed with him also.

One player that deserves a lot of accolades is Scott Brown from Gallatin Co. Not a big stats guy, but ask any coach in the 8th Region and they would tell you they would love to him him on their team.

I was at the Simon Kenton vs Highlands game tonight and Layne was injured in the 1st quarter. I think he rolled his ankle or something.

What do you think will happen tomorrow night between Grant and Owen?
