Has anyone heard who the coach of the girls B-ball team will be. The girls team could make some noise early with the young talent at Cawood, Cumberland and Evarts together. I think Debbie Green the former coach at M'boro would be a great choice to get the program started. I also think she is from Harlan County.

Is he the coach at Cumberland? I think they should get a person that does not coach a present Harlan Co. team.

I always heard Jennifer Parsons at Corbin was a leading candidate.

I have no dog in this fight but I would imagine that this was be a great fit for her. She's a good coach and going home means a lot to people so going back to Harlan County would be something that I could see her doing in a heartbeat if offered.

Green is also from Harlan County.:::D I think Parsons is a good coach, but I would still like to see Coach Green.

Agreed. She's an excellent coach and Harlan Co. would have to dig awful deep to find a better candidate.

Anymore news about the girls coaching job in Harlan? I hope to see one of these two coaches on the bench for the lady bears(Debbie Green or Parsons).

Heard that Parsons resigned at Corbin, does anybody know if this is true?????

Coach Parsons has not resigned and as of right now she plans to stay at Corbin.

:thumb: Thanks! I figured it was just somebody trying to start a rumor.

I don't see Coach Parsons staying @ Corbin-commuting from Harlan gets old real fast.
