Rules question concerning technical fouls

Featured Replies

Someone claiming to have some officials training told me that after two technical fouls that a game was supposed to be called...I have never seen that done. Is that a rule?

No such rule.

If a coach or player receives 2 direct technicals, they are ejected from the game. A coach can also be ejected if there is any combo of 1 direct/2 indirect or 3 indirect Ts.

Also, is there an online officiating handbook, so that I can look these things up myself?

You can buy a rulebook and casebook from the NFHS website.

Exactly what I thought...however this person insisted. Thanks for the backup! :thumb:

They always do.

http://www.nfhs.com has the rules listed online so you don't have to order a book.

Can't get any rules to come up ? Only things you can buy ??
