What does Owensboro need to do to improve in 2008? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Well Owensboro lost most the offensive and defensive lines but in all do respect they have talent and speed. If they can get some weight on some boys and the freshman this year that will be playing next year can make an impact they may have a chance. Maybe not this year but 09 for sure.

 

They have a QB with an arm, Speed in the receivers that can catch the ball and some linebackers coming in that can flat knock your teeth out. This team this year will need to pass more than run with a mobile QB they sure have a chance to put up some points this year but we will have to see where the Defense is. The DBs will be no issue returning all-stater Yante Williams. Kyree Maddox will be a big player at LB and the kicking game will also be solid returning freshman kicker Trey Cain we will see if these 3 guys can build on a successful last season and be leaders.

 

Owensboro always has a ton of speed and even more talent if they can keep the boys concentration on football and not have any distractions. I think the Devils have the potential to be a surprise young team this year.

 

Also remember the name Kal Prince this kid is going to be a big name at QB in the state for the next 3 years and Owensboro will be more of a passing team which will also help with Shemwell and Douglas to get more yards at the RB positions. Owensboro's offense might have a different look next year but we will see what Coach Prince and company will come up with. :devil:
