Region 8 has three wrestlers in the state finals of their respective weight class.

 

112 - Corey Spencer (Johnson Central) vs. Travis Sullivan (Wayne County)

215 - Adam Dials (Sheldon Clark) vs. Matt Green (Lafayette)

 

 

There are several more wrestlers from region 8 that will be wrestling for medals in the 3rd, 5th and 7th place matches.

Region 8 is going to have a good showing this year. Out of 56 wrestlers, 17 will place at state this year.
