Is this true? I've seen Harrison and I've seen Nicholas ... if this is true, how in the world did this happen? And what's going on with the Fillies? When was the last time Nicholas County beat Harrison? It had to have come back during Nicholas County's glory days back in the early 90's!

They would not make such a big deal out of home court advantage if it didn't!

to answer the question by option right: It really shouldn't.....but more often than not it does.

Harrison beat them on the Hilltop by 34 earlier in the year ... you mean by taking the short jouney over to Nicholas it was going to be a 35-point swing? That's what shocking me...

Not making any kind of judgement at all. I know some folks can say home cooking or what have you. Also don't think the 35 at HARRISON is a good barometer. All that aside, just saying that playing in the comfort zone of your own gym will , in most cases, always be an advantage. No bus ride, mom's cooking, etc. A relaxed athelete will always play better.

The word Home Court Advantage really baffles me, comical to say the least as it is always mentioned in a statement for a final score if in fact someone was not expecting or shocked at the final outcome. Such is the case here, Nicholas County gets a great win and shocks the Phillies after being demoralized by 34 at Harrison earlier. Yet all we can talk about is home cooking, Aunt B's cooking, and home court advantage. Give credit where its do, towards Nicholas County and there is some talent at the Lady Jacket program. Great win Nicholas!

Harrison shouldn't have won by 35 before, but were clearly the better team first time around. Obviously the tale of 2 teams. One going up - the other going down.

One more time, I do not mean to take anything away from Nicholas County. What a great win for them. That is really stepping it up to get beat by 35 and then turn around take awin from the team that handed you that loss. Just awesome.
