Powell County 52 Pendleton County 42

Recommended Posts

Frustratingly, Pendleton didn't show up to play like they did versus Grant County. The fire and intensity that was there for Grant AS A TEAM was not there for Powell County.

Perimeter players, at least some, allowed way too much dribble penetration which allowed too many easy shots for post players or offensive rebounds. And then when they had a chance to block out and establish their area, the post players, at least some, didn't do it.

Very disappointing loss for Pendleton as they had a great thing to build on after Grant and they didn't.

That said, Bethanie King continues to play very well as she has moved into the starting lineup with the illness of Natalie Kelsch.

Well said lbbc, defense has been the ill of this team all year, the D has got to be there all the time. I have allways taught that defense wins games. The Beast as Coach Collins calls her has looked good, playing with alot of heart, I know if she plays like shes runs CC

she can be a very intense person.
