leatherneck
Watched the Birds and the Tigers go at it last night. Both teams were scrappy and played hard. McGraw played another good game. Hurtt is getting his hoops legs back. Eaton played well, as did the sophomores. No doubt that McGraw is the straw, but there is enough other talent out there that prevents folks from being able to totally concentrate on him. Willie I'm sure saw some things that they'll work on. Was impressed with Beuttel of Beechwood. I think he realized at half that if they had a chance, he was going to have to carry them. He tried hard, but it wasn't enough. Good effort by both squads. Congrats to the kids on both teams.
Qryche11
Sounds like the Birds were just too much for the small school Beechwood Tigers. I am surprised the Hall kid didnt score more than 2 pts. Isnt he supposed to be a player to watch in the 9th?
