Im from eastern ky, but I like to keep up with all of Ky high school basketball and was wondering if anyone has any input on the first region state hopefuls.

 

It looks like it is down to the final three again(Tilghman,Marshall, and Graves)

 

Tilghman(They beat Univ Heights and then turn around and loss to Marshall by 12 at home).

 

Marshall(Loss to Graves at home and then turn around and beat Tilghman by 12 on the road).

 

Graves(Beat Murray at home and beat Marshall on raod)

 

Murray(Looks like they could be a possible threat)

Paducah Tilghman remains the favorite. Marshall County is a solid #2 ... their best player, Travis Spiceland, was in his first game back from the flu when they lost to Graves. Spiceland had 26 in the win over Tilghman.

Gus Gillespie coached only the first game or two of the season. He has been away from the team to be with his son (he has an inoperable brain tumor that is being treated with radiation) since the first weekend of the regular season.
