The Cards advance to the finals tomorrow night against the winner of Fern Creek/Mercer Co.

On Nov 30th GRC gave up 70 points to LCA and lost in OT . Tonight they gave up 45 points, and moved to the finals of the tourney.

The Cards were led in scoring by Robbie Stenzel with 15. Freshman Travis Pervis had 11 points , all in the second half. Ryan Williams had 8 points, also all in the second half. Marc Miller, Robert Hatton and Evan Bennett also had a good game, sorry didn't catch all the scoring for the cards. Had to listen to the game in my jeep outside.

I want to thank the radio announcers, Gram Johns and Pro Bob for the outstanding job they do in announcing the game. Great job guys.:thumb:

Is this an upset?

Isn't LCA a pretty solid ball club?

Upset...no. We lost to them in OT the second game of the season. GRC is young and getting better each game. Yes they are a good ball club, and will be better when their big guy comes back from injury in Jan.

Thanks Sunrise!

Congratulations to GRC for winning a hard fought game. They over came an eight point half time deficit, to take a two point lead at the end of the third quarter and never looked back. GRC looked much more improved from the last time these two teams played. Being part of the host team, I wish we could have prevailed, but instead I will say well done GRC, and good luck tomorrow night.

Listening to the game on the radio, it sounded like a hard fought game. Both teams have great respect for each other. '

Danky, do you know who won the second game and we will play tomorrow night?

No sorry I had to leave, I kept the books for the first two games, and watched the third, I was spent after the GRC and LCA games. If they email me tonight I will post it. The Herald Leader did not carry the scores of last nights games in this mornings paper. So if I find out in the morning I will post as soon as I find out.

I think the paper messed up on LCA's boxscore, the 9 to Kindred, should be 9 to Sparks. Gotta give Sparks his credits as he takes up the slack for my son as he recouperates.
