No need to feel biased, I will pick GRC in that game too. As a biased LCA fan, I can say that GRC is the team that scares me the most in this tournament.

I believe LCA will take care of business in this tournament and take home the big trophy.

Old School Dr. I hope you're right, I would feel better having Patrick Nevitt (their center) back. I know personally it is killing him missing this tournament, and the Fifth Third Classic after Christmas. Leading rebounder last year and one of the top three scorers.

Glad we can scare someone this year...:D Cards are improving every game.

LCA has a nice team without him. From all I have heard about Nevitt, he will be a great addition to the team when he returns.

When will he return danky?

I know he returns to visit his surgeon on January 2nd, at that time he will know when he officially can return. The hope has been that he will be able to return no later than the beginning of the All A, which is January 24th. He tore his patella tedon and had surgery on October 23rd, therefore, it was first thought he might loose his entire senior season, but he has worked hard as wanted to do what it took even if it meant he could only return for one game. I know he said once "it's my senior season, even one game is better than none". He is working hard with and has been encouraging junior Grant Sparks, as Grant takes over the load for him.

I will also pick GRC and it is o.k. to be bias. :D

He was the big strong built kid that played with them in the AAU State Tournament wasn't he, and played very well!!

Yes that was him. During the summer he was the only one LCA had to play the 5 spot. Got into foul trouble during the finals against Scott County, though he started out having a great game against them. Type of kid you can't help but like for his work ethic and attitude.

I could see how he would be a tremendous loss for you guys to have to deal with, especially against teams with some size and beef inside.

If anyone makes it out to the tournament, I will be the goober keeping the official books for the early games on Friday and Saturday. Come by and say Hi, you will have to figure out my first name, but I bet you can.
