Wayne County dominated SW on the boards 38 - 16. In fact Wayne Co. had more offensive rebounds (18) than SW had total rebounds.

 

However Wayne Co. did not look like the regional favorite tonight as they comitted 22 turnovers. They are going to have to improve on this aspect of their game. But I respect Coach Woods and I believe Wayne Co. will only improve as the season progresses.

 

 

Southwestern is in dire need of some leadership, mental and physical toughness. Until this happens it is going to be a long season for the Warrior nation.

I didn't expect Southwestern to win this one but I also didn't expect them to get completely blown out either. The Warriors are now 1-5 and own only a win against winless Monticello. I don't see very many wins on their remaining schedule--looks like a long season at the Wigwam.
