I know Buckhorn's program is improving, but what in the world happened to the Lady Dogs in this one. Looks like they played more like pups. This is just mind blowing. Hats off to the Lady Wildcats, nice win.

 

Hope the Dogs play better on Wednesday night when Perry Central comes calling, it could get ugly. No love loss their, I would say Perry will beat them just as bad as they can. 105-63

I was getting ready to post this game myself. I was there and Buckhorn had a double digit lead for most of the game. They just outplayed Hazard on every aspect of the game. Hazard made a good run late to get it into OT. Very good game. Coach Wooten has done a tremendous job with these girls. THey never backed down. Buckhorn got down early in the 1st around 10. They came back and led by as many as 14 or 15. Very entertaining. The game was sure to go to a triple OT, but Miranda Napier (8th grade) hit a shot at the buzzer to win it for Buckhorn.

Good to hear things are going well for Da Horn. Looks like the Horn is blowing now.

 

Who all starts and gets quality minutes for Buckhorn?

Buckhorn is about 7 or 8 deep and that is about it. Against Hazard they started Jamey Gilbert (Sr.), Caitling Wheeler (So.), Paige Napier (Jr.), Erika Feltner (Sr.), and Sherry Noble (??). Off the bench they used Alesha Staley (Jr.), and Miranda Napier (8th). They also use another 8th grader, but I can't think of her name right off.

Was this the first time Buckhorn girls have ever beaten Hazard?
