Ft. Campbell 54 Todd County Central 0 (2A)

Final

The Falcons had 515 yards while the Rebels had 21 yards. Seven different Falcons scored. Good job win and survive

Expected win for the Falcons. Somewhat of a ho-hum game, Fort Campbell came out a little sluggish, of course they were all up at 4:00am for Nashville’s WSMV “Cool School”, but got things going on their second position. The defense looked good, especially considering a couple of starters were sitting out to rest and most all of the starters where out mid way through the 3rd Qtr. Croft threw for 205 yards and a TD and ran for another and Turner had 102 yards, but a lot of the ground game went to Powell and Moreno who each had two TDs.

While I’m not familiar with the depth at RB of most other schools, I have to say that it bodes well for Fort Campbell that they have five legitimate RBs who share the load led by Turner and a mobile QB. That combined with the passing threat of Croft and a stellar defense makes them a very balanced team capable of getting to Louisville.
