20ROOK
51-6? Wow! What happen in this one?Owen Co. had 4 or 5 seniors out due to sickness or injury, which would have made a slight difference defensively.
QB19
CAL looked good in this one. I think they scored 4 times on D-fence, and once on a punt return.
Play Maker3
Not having seniors does seem like that would have a significant effect on a ball game but if CAL's defense scored 4 td's (at least 24 points not counting PAT's) and their punt return team scored one TD that's at least 30 points right there. Just doing the math here but that means Owen's D only gave up 21 at the most.......sounds like to me those seniors would have been needed for offensive needs if they even play offense. QB19
I think CAL scored every time they had the ball. With a running clock in the second half it went very fast. With the D-fence scoring, the o-fence was not on the field very much.

Hearsay
I don't know why this surprises, CAL is a pretty decent team, 5-3, with losses to undefeated Green County, by less than a TD to a pretty good Desales team, and to a talented LCA team early in the year. With an upset of Desales in the second round, which is possible, this is a team that could go to region.

STAYGOLD
Is CAL Christian Academy of Louisville?
Colt45
CAL or Christian Academy of Louisville has a very solid team. When the played DeSales they loss by only 6 points due to 4 turnovers. If DeSales has a chance during the playoffs they better play mistake free football with all team members ready to focus on making their assignments. Play Maker3
Their top 2 running backs, Oaks and Slone were not playing. Why weren't these two kids playing? Injury? Them not playing gives some insight to the offensive struggle but what about the INTs thrown? What happen to the passing game? They obviously did some passing to get picked off 4 or 5 times. All four are starting defensive backs. So they were hurting a little. As for the passing game, Cox was the QB. They never had a passing game all year. They have no recievers, and since the first game they haven't had a QB who could throw.
