The 2007 Road to Regents Hall (Updated list of volleyball teams that have qualified)

Just wanted to go ahead and get an update thread going of all the teams that have won their respective volleyball regional tournaments and to list the dates in which the others will be played.

 

Congrats to the Letcher County Central High School Cougars for being the first team in Kentucky to have qualified for the right to play in the KHSAA Volleyball Sweet 16 held at Regents Hall on the campus of Northern Kentucky University.

 

Below is a complete list of all the regionals, the winner of each, the date the finals will be played (if not completed), and the host site:

It is being played in the same place that it was when it was here two years ago. The parking will be limited because so much is going on here at NKU so come early.

 

The new Bank of Kentucky Arena will not be completely finished until next fall.

I may be wrong, but I don't think the Letcher County school district has ever lost the 14th region tournament in volleyball. Whitesburg HS and Letcher HS won them all for years, and now the new consolidated school is doing the same.
