I was looking at KHSAA ' s stat leaders and noticed my home team had several leaders in some of the stats. It was odd to see that the GRC team has only won one game but they are top 15 in several stats. My question for this thread is how can a team excel in several areas and still be 1-6 on the year? I feel like these stats back up the fact GRC has a talented team they just haven't gotten it all together this year. What do you think

Clark County indeed as many atheltes on there football team. The talent is there, the skill is there, and I would say that the desire is there too.

 

Sometimes, things just dont go your way for whatever reason.... but if someone told me that clark would be 1-6 instead of 6-1 at this point of the season back before the season started, I would have said no way!

Interesting about the pass defense. They did play an awesome game against Shelby Co. They will need to keep it going against Scott Co on the 19th.

Many of us feel this same way.

From looking at those stats, I can see that Clark County is 5th in 6A in rushing and is in the top 15 in pass defense. Those stats don't jump out...they can't throw the ball and they have faced one or two passing teams.

 

Don't get me wrong, they are better than the record indicates, but they are not a top 15 6A team....

They are also 12 in passing defense and QB is 13 in points per game. It just seems they are better than they are playing. My gut feeling is the problem may have been fixed against a good Shelby team and the rest of the season we are undefeated! GO CARDS!!!!!!!!
