Final. Christian County had a chance to tie it with 10 seconds to go, but the ball was too high through the end zone.

Hopkinsville went to their best Offensive Linemen instead of the tinkering and mixing & matching they've been doing. It was their best blocking game they've played up front. The Hopkinsville RB's Harris and McGregor both played well in the same game for probably the first time this year. QB Marshall Stewart played his best game of the year and did exactly what was asked. He managed the game and didn't force it and when it wasn't there he ran with it and ran as aggressive as he has all year and finished of his runs strong.

 

Defensively Hopkinsville was solid but Bauer hurt them on some scrambles. Joe Harris the Tigers Junior LB was all over the field tonight. Christian Co. couldn't block him and the Tigers staff did a good job of moving him around. Dee Allen is another one that played well up front. 1 of the Colonels TD drives came off a turnover where they took over in Hopkinsville territory.

 

Hopkinsville had two other potential TD drives stall inside the Colonels 25 and another where they missed a 32 yard FG. But all in all this was Hopkinsville's best all around game when you break down all 3 aspects of Offense, Defense, and Special Teams.

Congrats to the Tigers, great win and some bragging rights for about 360 days
