I know coulda, shoulda, woulda, but if 25 for HC wouldn't have muffed the punt and NC recoved and played with a short field, the score very well could have been a final of 7-0. But a win is a win. Good luck NCC the rest of the way.......hopefully the next time both O's will show up and throw some pts on the board.

I forgot!!!!! How did the officials blow the call with the QB keeper? Readron was headed to the house when the officials blew the play dead.:irked: They thought Walker had the ball. It was horrible. This could have been the only O highlight for HC, but there wasn't any........just D.

That was a strange play . It is the first time in my memory that a down was played over and it didn't involve a penalty . Just a bonehead whistle by an official . The Reardon kid was definately in the clear and on his way to a possible score. Can anyone else remember a do-over like this except on the playgrounds of our youth .

I'm not sure he would have scored because everyone stopped on the whistle but he would have had a nice gain.

 

An incorrect whistle happened in a game I saw last month. A D-lineman batted the ball thrown by the QB and the ref blew the whistle ......too bad that the ball went right to the LB who returned it 30 yards.

 

They had to replay the down. No INT, no return.
