Apollo 27 Madisonville 24

Featured Replies

Madisonville was up 17-0 early, but some costly fumbles changed the momentum. Any thoughts??

Back up QB played like a senior. Looked very sharp IMO

I figured Apollo would roll through the district with the exception of OHS. Is Madisonville pretty solid this year or did Apollo play bad?

OHS is 5A. No longer district rivals.

who had to play their back up qb and why?

Hunter Cannon was the qb that relieved Stanley. Stanley had been bothered by a sore ankle and Carlberg started Stanley, but bad ankle made him not a big factor, but no qb switch for good. Good back up to have !!!!

Got ya... Carlberg must have believed he could get the job done and knew he would get the job done. Good for Him and the young man who made his coaching move work. Congrats to the eagles!

Not real sure what I was thinking about.

How did Madisonville's QB do?

  • Author

Madisonville's QB was like 16-24 for 215 yards and 1 touchdown with 1 pick on a "Hale Mary" at the end of the game. He did a good job as did the entire team. 5 turnovers and 16 penalties against were to much to overcome.
