nWo
Final in the 1st Roy Kidd Bowl. This is the first time these cross county teams have played each other in 19 years.
Son of Bear
First off, this was a very sloppy game....fumbles, interceptions, lots of flags. These teams hadn't met since 1989....with MC winning 32-0 and the results were similar this time around. Madison Central finished with over 400 yards of offense...if not for the plethora or flags, it would have been well over 500, they had 2 or 3 scores called back. The injury bug has bitten the Indians badly with 4 starters on offense out. Coldiron and Hope split time at QB with both playing well, but with a lot of dropped balls. The score was not nearly as lopsided as what I saw on the field. The obvious stars of the game were MC defensive ends Patrick Ford and Chaz Hope, who dominated Southern's offensive line. Those two alone had to account for 7 or 8 sacks. Southern's QB was on his back most of the night. The starter only played a couple of series....not sure if he was injured or was pulled for bad play. I'll say this, Southern passes the look test....they have some talent but just looked outmatched tonight.
BamBam
Who are the four starters injured? Hopefully the Indians can keep the momemtume going and be ready for a tough schedule.
Qb7footballfan
You got one thing right, yeah the qb wasn't getting help from the offensive line lots of the night...but the starter played the WHOLE game, his jersey got torn and he just had to change his jersey/number.
