Bob Sphire is living the dream in Georgia, coaching the North Gwinnett football team. When you are playing pre-season games on national TV in 25,000 seat stadiums, life is good. :D

Check out the recent media hype on the North Gwinnett Bulldogs.

Also kudos to Sphire and staff (all from KY) who were recently named the best coaching staff in the state of Georgia. :thumb:

From Mike Fields notebook in todays Herald Leader...

Bob Sphire, who led Lexington Catholic to the 2005 Class 3A title before leaving to take over the North Gwinnett program in Georgia, got a pre-season honor. Georgia Football magazine rated North Gwinnett's coaching staff as the best in the state. "Not bad for a bunch of Kentucky boys," said Sphire, whose assistants include Kentuckians Maurice Dixon, Troy Hobbs, Traye Moore, Chuck Allen and Wes Cissell.

The best story behind all of this is those guys who stayed behind at Lex Cath. They have continued on the tradition of gr8 teams and winning that Spire built.
