Can anyone tell me the final score and a brief summary of the game? Thanks!

Moe's website shows a 28 - 7 Crusader win.

The final score was Moeller 28 - St. X. 7. Long pass plays and a couple of long outside runs were the offensive story of this victory by the Crusaders. The defense of Moeller thoroughly throttled St. X. The Tigers lone score was a long drive late in the 4th quarter after Moeller had pulled out all of their starters.

Actually, except for the secondary, the Baby Bengals defense played well also. One of the X DB's was constantly being beat deep by the Moeller receivers.

Thats pretty much it. Moeller had good size and an excellent QB. St.X frosh defense played well except gave up the long passes all day. They also have a couple of good backs but just like the varsity they need to develop a passing game to open up the running. I think they will be OK in a couple of weeks. The crowd for the game was huge by frosh standards.

Agree, a few times didn't get the pass off to open receivers. Once would have been a TD, WR was alone downfield, instead QB was sacked. Although I think the OL looked pretty good, more practices will get OL stronger and give QBs longer to look down field for open receivers.
