Belfry outscored Hazard 4-1 in the Varsity vs. Varsity part.

Hazard's varsity scored easily on the Belfry second stringers.

No stats, it was a scrimmage.

Belfry:

-May only carried the ball 5 times, but two were TD's including a 70 yarder on the opening play, he also broke about a 40 yard run. The other TD was an untouched 2 yarder. He also had about a 25 yard carry where he dragged a Bulldog defender until he ran out of bounds, and his other carry was about 15 yards up the middle and it took about 5 Hazard defenders to brign him down. in other words, May looked good.

-Timmy Lovern looked good at HB, in fact all of the Belfry HB's looked good, but Lovern really surprised.

-Charlie Dotson was tough at LB, he had an interception and was all over the field. Elkins looked awesome at CB, Hazard's star receiver Michael Campbell only caught a couple bubble screens when Elkins guarded him.

Hazard:

-Olinger looked very good with hsi feet. On Hazrad's loen score vs. the Belfry varsity he did it all himself breaking a long 50 yard run, then adding about a 15 yard run on a scramble, and finishing it off with a short QB draw. He was throwing very accurate passes, but the Bulldogs either dropped the pass or Belfry's coverage was on spot.

-Michael Campbell caught the TD vs. the second stringers. He looked really tough in the open field, but Belfry flew to the ball quickly and he didn'thave much downfield blocking.
