I have heard that there has been some confusion and that Jackson County did not intend to compete for the district in 07 or 08 and that they might not play a full district schedule. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

They indeed have a 10 game schedule for this upcoming season being in the district with favorite Somerset, and Garrard Co., Wayne Co. Casey Co., Taylor Co.

 

Jackson Co. played 10 game varsity schedule last season finishing 2-8 in its first season of football.

 

They have a long way to go to compete and with slim to no facilities as of now, its even harder.

 

I wish Jackson Co. the best in building a solid football program.
