Heath sweeps the series in two games. Drew Williams went the route for Heath and was gassed at the end, although he did strike out three batters in the seventh inning, the last with the tying run on first base. Williams gave up five hits and walked seven with seven strikeouts.

 

The Pirates scored three runs in the top of the first and scored another run later on a bunt single (a bases-loaded squeeze) and then on a two-out error. Lance Davis had two hits, including the squeeze, and Tyler Kennady had a two-run single in the first.

 

Heath will meet either Henderson County or Apollo at Applebee's Park.
