Middlesboro High School standout Lance Brooks has signed to play baseball for Maryville College (TN). Congratulations on a great season and a great career.

Also Congratulations to the Jacket players for a fine season. The semifinal win over South Laurel will be talked about for years to come. Even though the championship game didn't turn out like we wanted, we still played a gutsy game. We overcame more adversity than anyone will ever know. Thanks guys for a season I'll never forget. :ylsuper:

Congrats to Lance! I'm sure he'll do the Boro proud !

So far, that's four Jacket Seniors (out of a graduating class of under 100) with athletic scholarships - Brooks in baseball, Osborne in tennis, Hoskins and Breeding in football. Which sport will Casey Earls choose to play in College - baseball or football? I've heard he has offers on the table for both.

Congrats to Lance and family.:dancingpa
