I know this game was 2 days ago, but since no one else posted it I thought I would. Ludlow moves on to the district championship tonight to face Dixie... This is the 4th time in 6 years that Ludlow has made the region which is one of the best percentages out of the teams in the 9th in making the region..

Yes, but does the percentage have anything to do with the level of competition that need to beat to advance? A bit tougher to move on if you have to go through Beechwood, HC, and CC (35th) or Ryle, Boone, St. H, Conner (33rd).

To my recollection, the Beechwood, HC, and CC district has not been in effect for the past 6 years.

I'm not exactly certain, how the districts were structured prior to realignment but I do know that they haven't been what they are now, for all 6 of those years. I do recall that Ludlow, did beat Cov. Cath in one of those years as well.

Nonetheless, congrats to Ludlow on making the regional tournament!

Good point. Yes, the realignment is indeed fairly recent and I forgot that. And regardless of whom they had to beat to advance, they certainly do deserve congratulations.

Kyle York pitched very well, and Ludlow came out swinging. They earned this victory. Only real highlights for Lloyd were back to back jacks by Judd and Downey. Otherwise, Lloyd was unimpressive.
