May 24, 200719 yr "Badlands" by Bruce Springsteen — hearing "Glory Days" earlier prompted me to get into the CD collection and load up the disc changer with Springsteen stuff. More specifically, the first five albums: "Darkness On The Edge Of Town" (1978) "Born To Run" (1975) "The Wild, The Innocent, and The E Street Shuffle" (1973) "Greetings From Asbury Park, New Jersey" (1973) "The River" (1980) I'd have to think about it, but there aren't too many artists who have come out of the gate slugging like that with five fantastic albums in a row. Truthfully, when you also consider "Nebraska" (1982), "Born In The USA" (1984) and Tunnel Of Love (1987), Springsteen's first eight studio albums are probably unmatched in terms of consistent quality.
May 24, 200719 yr "Blinded By The Light" by The Boss I don't think his version of this tune (the original, BTW) gets the respect it deserves.
