Bleeds Blue Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 The pitchers for today's games were Cody Christopher for Clark and Matt Fyffe for Johnson Central, and both went the distance. It was a well played game by both teams with Clark winning a close one 3-2. All the games this weekend at the Swartz Classic were close and the fans were treated with excellent players on the field along with excellent coaching. Some great weather to go along with the fine baseball played at Cardinal Stadium in Winchester.
gold sunrise Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 Good win for the cards playing back to back games. Busy day for the cards, and the Prom tonight.
GO15AROD Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 Great win for GRC. Fyffe for Johnson Central can bring the heat at around 88 to 90 mph.

I agree Fyffe is a good player, and will be a nice addition to the EKU staff. I am impressed with the Johnson Central team, they hustle, play hard and are a quality baseball team. The 57th district tourney will have some dandy games.
