Interesting Story

I am watching the All American Show. There is a High School senior out there that is 6'11 and has only one hand. Supposely he is really good and he blocks a lot of shots. It was kinda of a intersting story. Anyone else see it

Did not see the story, but almost 20 years ago I coached a 7th grader who only had one arm and a nub about half as long as his normal arm (very similar to Jim Abbott), and he was the best basketball and baseball player in his grade at that time. I went on to another school and my best friend coached him through the end of his career. Unfortunately his senior year was cut short by a car accident, but he averaged over 20 points, 7 steals, and 6 assists per game, and was the baseball teams best pitcher for his soph, and junior season. His team his senior year was ranked as high as #4, and was one of our biggest threats to us not winning our class state championship before he & his best friend were taken from us. Stories like this are few and far between. Just thought I would throw this one out there upon seeing this post. Moral of the story, is to not ever sell yourself short of things you think you might not be capable of.
