Western Hills 3 Frankfort 2 (10 innings)

Featured Replies

The Panthers deserved to win this one tonight. Such an outstanding team effort with great pitching and defense. Keep up the hard work Panthers, you are making great strides.

It was a great game to watch! FHS lost this game @ Hills 13-3 in 5 innings and then turned around a week later and played to a 3-2 defeat in 10 innings. Tyler DeAgano (8th grader) pitched a very solid 9 innings getting the no decision. The Panthers will take on Tates Creek and Western Hills plays Woodford tomorrow. This game featured two teams that played more like the middle of the pack rather than the bottom tonight! Hills and High could both have bright futures ahead of them.

Got to make it to this one and I have to say it was one of the better games I have seen in a while.

Panthers seem to be improving. They just need a big win to get them over the hump. It will make a huge difference when they learn some discipline and stop throwing bats, helmets and hitting fences and dugout walls, etc. It would be nice for the Seniors to step up and be leaders in a positive way. I've never seen a bunch of guys throw stuff the way they do. Cudos to the coaches for getting a grip on this behavior and working to intill some discipline.

The Panthers have some very talented ball players and a good coach that knows what he is talking about. Looking forward to see what they can do the rest of this year and the following years.

Nice article on the game. Saw that they play Tates Creek tonight. Best of luck as I will not be able to make it!
