McCreary Central lead 48th District

McCreary Central currently leads the 48th District with a record of 4-0. They have swept Monticello, outscoring the Trojans 26-3. They have also beat Southwestern and Wayne by a combined 11 runs. Last season, the Raiders ended with an 8-20 record. So far this season, they are 8-7, already matching their previous win total. Their defense has gotten a lot better since the first games of the year, and it's showing in the win column. Updates will continue.

I'm glad to see the McCreary program reviving itself this year. It seems like they've struggled for a while, but I remember when I played 8-10 years ago, they were annually fielding quality teams.
