WOW....I don't look for a pitchers duel Monday at Tates Creek. Last game Ryle and CCH played this week they put up 30 runs. I'll take the over. LOL

Yes, young Maile had a fair day at the plate, but of course this is getting to be a very common event now. His first of two HR's was about 355/360 and the second one was hit about 345. Loved it when the McNick pitcher (whether he meant it or not), let one go over Maile head after the second HR, the next pitch was hit for his second double and fifth hit of the game.

 

Senior Stein I believe had around 6 or 7 RBI's also, and Curtin looked good in the beginning, but when he got tired, Coach Krumps brought in Niehaus to close out the game.

 

Again today, CovCath looked better than average in the field, although some of the throws to first were a little wide or high, but Blesser either made a great stretch, or a catch and tag, so saving his teammates an error.

 

Next up for the Colonels on Monday April 2nd is a doubleheader with the first game at 3pm vs. Boyle County then at 6pm Ryle. Both games will be played at Tates Creek in the Tates Creek Tourney in Lexington....
