Both the NLMS Varsity and JV squads go to 3-0 respectively (6-0 overall).

 

Foley has a couple of pretty good pitchers, including their JV left hander (Sara Taylor), which we don't see much of. Their Varsity pitcher, Helton is VERY solid. Both North and Foley have very young teams and should be even better by the end of the season. North has a trio of good pitchers, .. Baldwin (6th grader) has excellent speed and is getting a lot of K's right now (2 - 1 hitters in 2 starts), Evans (7th grader) has good speed and is pretty consistent and Strong (6th grader) who is getting faster, but not losing any consistency.

Foley is a pretty good squad from watching them play this past weekend.

I agree. They have good pitching, good hitters and some girls with speed. I really liked their squad. The parents and coaches from Foley were very nice people as well.
