LCA becomes only the 2nd team in Kentucky history to win both the All "A" State Tournament and the Sweet 16. Nicholas Co. did it in 1993.

Congrats to LCA. I was impressed with their athleticism and teamwork. IMO definitely the best team in the tourney.

Great year for LCA!!! Saw them play down in richmond and they were dominant against all of the 1A teams. The play in the hardest region in the state and were able to prevail through that. They really deserved this state title!!!

Congratulations to LCA and to Emily London. If the voting hasn't already taken place, you've vaulted yourself to the top of the heap among Miss Basketball candidates.

 

It was a pleasure to watch such a disciplined and intelligent basketball team. A great lesson for all.
