After long-time coach Jerry Don Ross retired at seasons end, the Lady Raiders head coaching job is open.

Potential Candidates:

Joe Waters - 1st Year JV Head Coach

Justin Creekmore - 1st Year 8th Grade Head Coach (28-6)

McCreary should go out of the area to look for a head coach. I know many of you don't follow any of McCreary sports, but if you hear something, feel free to post it.

Is cothron still the principal there?

:fight:

Good luck to Jerry Don. He has been a credit to McCreary County for a long time.

Cothran is leaving at the end of the year; retiring.

It's going to be interesting on who is picked. They have a lot of young talent from last years middle school team who will be sophomores next season.

The word I'm hearing is the Principal and the new Coach will be from out of the area.
