Pikeville comes out of the gates a little slow, but gets back on track late in the first half. Second half was close the whole way through. Pikeville was able to pull away a bit in overtime. Great game by both teams, despite some bad officiating against both sides it never played a role in the outcome of the game. Pikeville had clutch performances from everyone, but #3 Jordan Bell gave them the spark early in the game and made key play after key play late. Allen Central had some great performances from #14 and #34, sorry I don't know their names maybe someone can fill us in. I listened to this game on the radio, sounded like a great game.

 

The way the radio announcers led on, Allen Central just ran out of gas in the overtime session.

Yeah, Allen Central only played 7 players most of the game so they probably did wear down a little bit at the end. They also had one of their starters foul out late in the game further restricting their rotation.

 

BTW, the Pikeville coaches were great tonight!
