Knox Central 68 Barbourville 54

Featured Replies

Freshman Cody Miller had a monster game with 25 points 11 rebounds and 8 assists, two away from a triple double in a huge game, impressive. Central will be hard to beat at home on Friday. Pineville will have their hands full.

Great game by the Panthers! Williamson was just as big as Miller. Williamson goes for 16 and 16. Great job by Elam and KC. Tremendous atmosphere.

I was impressed with the way Central played. A lot of people forget about Messer's consecutive 3s that really got things going for the Panthers.

I wouldn't want to play KC in the frst round of the region.

I agree Les... I think the big MO. from the North game really helpped carry K.C.

Your right, I did forget about Messer's 3's. They gave Central a good kick start!

Aside from the last 3 minutes of the first half, I thought Central played great. They were patient and took what the Tigers gave them. They made the extra pass, and seemed to really play as a team. My hats of to Elam!

From all indications, Coach Elam feels like his Panthers are serious contenders for the region when they play up to expectations. I would not be surprised to see them really give Pineville a handful Friday night.
