I hear Ryle had 11 kids throwing at their varsity pitchers and catchers camp yesterday. Five have extensive varsity experience and the rest have pitched through the JV level. I think it is extreemly imporntant to develope as many pitchers as possible given the number of tournaments that most high schools play these days.

Give me pitching and a great "D" and I will win more games than not. As I have told many, you can't lose, if they can't score....

 

If the injury bugs stays away this year, CovCath should be in outstanding shape........

Ashlands pitching will be ok this season. 4 or 5 return with varsity experience. A few of them have some very good off speed but none will over power you. Kris Bias, Luke Bonner, Robby Wilcox, Caleb Rigsby, James Barber.
