Has any decision been made as for their status for the rest of the regular season and district? The farm machinery show and tractor pull was in Louisville on Friday and Saturday. Don't understand if they are in FFA or something, why missing a game is that big a deal. Don't this happen with players that are in choir all of the time, missing a game or having a game changed to accomodate them. Is there a double standard here? If there is more to this, please PM me. Thanks.

Has anyone from that district heard anything?

Both are in FFA but it was not a school sponsered trip. Nicholas County FFA did not attend the show this year. Apparently the two just decided to go and did not inform their coach of this. So, they have been kicked off the team, not just suspended.

Somebody said something to the effect it'll be easier fro Deming in the District Tournamnet now that those 2 are gone now, I for 1 wished it didn't happen. But the Devils must be ready to play the Bluejackets either way.

The Berea-Nicholas Co. game will be covered on 90.7 FM The Wind tonight, starting around 7:15....

Should be interesting to see how they do without those two... Willoughby is a pretty good ballplayer (averaged over 17 ppg, including 20 last Thursday night against Paris), but they have a freshman in Kyle Campbell who is averging over 16 a game...

The problem with Nicholas has been balanced scoring, it's been Willoughby, Campbell, and little else... losing a piece of that puzzle isn't going to help them next week, but Berea only has one win... should be interesting how things play out...

Kyle will have to be THE man now with Willougby out. He has a chance to be real good and definately has a great game for a freshman.

Im hoping the Jackets can beat Berea to end this streak we're on and give the kids a little more confidence going into district.
