Final

Scott Gill out with mono, but Russell still rolls on

Not sure how long Scott will be out, that could be big factor

End of 1st QTR: Russell 17 West 0

End of 2nd QTR: Russell 30 West 6

This game was over before it even started!! West fought through the humility and made it a respectable score in the end.

I'm confused with the sideline tactics this evening, with removing the starters in the 2nd half when up by 20+, then when the second team squandered the lead to around 14 pts, the starters returned.

I am not saying to be stubborn and leave in the second team and take a chance to lose a victory, but I thought there could have been more COACHING and less yelling and berating towards your kids.

On a good note, Russell showed why they are #1 in the region as of to date with their first half performance.

On the bad side, Russell showed that they can easily be lulled into going through the motions during the second half.

I just left the game feeling a little confused and concerned. :creepy:  :jump:

about as good as a first quarter as you can get. Hard to come back from 17-0.
