?? WELCOME HOME, COACH LAUREN LEE! ??

Casey County Schools is proud to announce the hiring of Casey County High School Class of 2020 graduate and Campbellsville University Lady Tigers standout Lauren Lee as the new Head Coach of the Lady Rebels Basketball Program.

Lauren’s basketball accomplishments speak for themselves. During her senior season at Campbellsville University, she was named the 2024-25 Mid-South Conference Player of the Year and earned First Team All-Mid-South Conference honors.

She started all 25 games for the Lady Tigers, averaging 17.7 points per game while shooting 48.8% from the field. Lauren also averaged 5.9 assists per game, scored 20 or more points nine times, reached the 30-point mark twice, led the conference in steals, and finished second in the conference in scoring.

Lady Rebel fans will also remember Lauren’s incredible high school career, where she led Casey County to the 2020 12th Region Championship and was named the 12th Region Player of the Year.
Superintendent Barry Lee shared:

“During my graduation speech last week, I told our graduates that you do not have to leave Casey County to find greatness. Today, we’re proving that point. We are welcoming home one of the greatest players ever to wear a Lady Rebel uniform and one of the finest student-athletes to come through Casey County Schools.

Coach Lauren Lee represents hard work, dedication, and character. She understands what it means to be a Lady Rebel because she has lived it. We are excited to welcome her home and look forward to a bright future for Lady Rebel Basketball.”

Coach Lauren Lee said:

“I’m so grateful to be given this opportunity. It means so much more that I’m able to come back and coach at my alma mater. I can’t wait to meet all the players and get started. I’m excited to see what the season holds for this group.”

Please join us in welcoming Coach Lauren Lee back home to Casey County!

Way to go, Lauren! ???
