How about weather permitting???

Before I predict..Is the post player for GC back (Amanda) Grant has a pretty good one and I think Gallatin will need her healthy to match up in that position.

not sure if she'll play or not. practiced yesterday and felt o.k.

Grant County game has been rescheduled for tomorrow because of weather, as far as i know there is no freshman game it is just JV and Varsity and it will start at 5 o'clock.

 

I think though that it will be a pretty fair matchup if Gallatin can control Garnett out on the floor, other than the post on the inside, she seems to be the only threat.

Starting sophomore guard for Grant (Gorby), who is ball-handler for Grant in addition to Garnett is out with thumb injury (hand is casted). In last 2 games she played shot 4-3pt shots in one & then shot 100% next game (couple jumpers, 3pt & layups). Garnett is an even bigger threat with this other guard on the floor. She should be back in action next week...maybe the winter weather will continue & another re-schedule for next wk? Then both schools may have all players back!

It sounds like Grant County and Gallatin County are the walking wounded.

No. Garnett is good. Gorby is out, sophomore guard...was coming on very strong right before the injury. Sorry...lots of G's in the post....Grant Cty, Gorby & Garnett.

Ok. OK. I see, that is much better. From what i have heard and i dont know if this is true, hopefully it is because that would be awesome for her, but i heard that Garnett got a ride to Mid-Continent Univeristy down in Ky to play ball??? Is that rumor or truth? Any one know??

No rumour! It's true. They I think there is a post in here in early January that has more info....yep, did a search on Garnett...it's the Carroll Co 47/Grant Co 40 post. Way to go Leslie!

That makes us sad, we wanted to play this game badly. Good Competition makes for better preparation!

Oh i am sure that Gallatin would like to reschedule also. There just simply not enough time with JV and Varsity districts and their upcomming games with whitefield and walton verona...

So maybe next year?? lol
