Does anyone know what is going on the large area under construction across from the Barleycorn's? Have heard Outback, Texas Roadhouse, Chick-fil-A, Wawa,etc are all going to be somewhere on #27, is this the location for some of those or are they all going to be around the Publix?

That site started with St. Elizabeth being thought to develop it for medical offices, to the school district trying to claim eminent domain, to finally a mixed use development.  I noticed a small retain building for 2 or 3 shops is currently up along 27.  I never did hear what exactly was going in there.

Several of the buildings around the Publix already have their names on them, but can't tell from 27 if any buildings look to be any of the above restaurants I mentioned. So really not for sure what is going where or all is just a lot of heresay.

Let's hope whatever goes in out there, someone (KY?) does some improvement to that intersection at the Meijer and Publix entrances.  Not exactly thrilled with the addition of traffic light there on 27 near the gas station.  But as they say.....progress...
