Camels freshman beat mustang freshman 44-21 At Scott high school in the finals of the district tourny.

The Brossart freshmen, the top seed in the 37th District Tournament, were humbled by the red hot Campbell County Camels, winners of ten of their last eleven games 44-21 in the district championship game.

The Mustangs had defeated the Camels 49-37 back in early December in the crosstown shootout.

Brady Jolly led the Camel assault with 13 points, while Jacob Rieger led the Stangs with 12, including all 8 Mustangs first half points.

The Mustang freshmen close the book on a 17-9 season, and the Camels will advance to the 10th Region Tournament later this week at George Rogers Clark High School.

Congratulations to Coach Sean Maddie (sp) and his Camels, clearly the better team on this afternoon.

Best of luck in the 10th Region Tournament!!!
