Not too many people were expecting this one to be close.

 

Trigg forged a tie late in regulation but UHA had a little more in the tank in OT.

 

Tyshawn Edmonson and Scotty Hopson came off the bench midway through the first quarter. Edmonson finished with 27 points. Hopson had 19 points and 14 rebounds, and Ryan Langhi had 16 points and 17 rebounds.

 

Rodney Davis led Trigg with 33 points. Jonathon King added 13 points and 11 rebounds.

 

Trigg scored 18 points from 15 UHA turnovers but were outrebounded 53-29.

Phill Keller said on TV and on the radio his staff and him was now only scouting and preparing for the district game with Christian Co. and they wasn't concerned about the wins and losses the rest of the way. From talking with a UHA Asst. that statement seems to be true by Keller.

 

They are trying to find another body or two for depth purposes down the stretch.

I agree with you there. Keller said last year they didn't do enough to prepare for Christian Co. in the tournament. He said he would have done it differently if he had to do over. So from here on out it sounds like their devoting all or most of their time to Christian Co.

 

It has its good and bad sides but he is the Coach.
